So Italy seem to have their fair share of what look like American prep brands. DSquared2, Franklin & Marshall, and now I have found Roy Rogers. Looks like quintessential Americana, but actually quintessentially Italiano!
I saw this brand while thumbing through the pages of Monocle Maagazine (https://monocle.com) and it instantly stuck out as being slick, well made and quite cool. I like simple fashion and this really suits the average gent. The Abetone Parka Sherpa particularly looks great. It is 304 euros, but considering how much you pay for moderate brand clothing these days, that isn’t bad for quality from a family firm from the 1950s. And a family brand it is!
