So, I had always thought DSquared was a bit of a ‘passe’ brand and not that cool. Then I got an email from the guys at Bang & Strike (www.bangandstrike.com) with these awesome pair of swim shorts. Khaki green with old fashioned scout badges on them. It helped they had an amazing model showing them off too. What surprised me most however was they were DSquared2.

They came with a hefty price tag (£235) which is so high for a pair of swim shorts, but I just love them. Thanks to my dad giving me a generous birthday present, I took the plunge. They only had Large (i’m normally XL) so I didn’t hold out much hope they would look good, but they turned out amazingly! I will be wearing on my upcoming beach holiday with pride.

What it did do though was give me a new appreciation for the brand. They actually have some pretty cool stuff. Its an Italian brand, designed by Dean & Dean Caten from Canada. If you like out there, bold fashion, then this brand is certainly for you. I will certainly be keeping check on them, having already bought myself a pair of their signature underwear. I think the trucker cap may be next!
