I have seen Spoke London advertised online so many times now and have always thought, I might try that. But I have always strayed to the mainstream brands such as Gap, J Crew, Old Navy, Banana Republic for my work chinos. However, I have lost a lot of weight recently, and my chinos just weren’t cutting it. I was fed up of looking boxy. I’m an ordinary guy but my thighs are broad and I have wide calves so everything just looks wrong.
Spoke have a ‘fit finder’ on their website that guarantees you to get the best fit for your build. I tried their online calculator. I went with the results and they were pretty good. I decided to go with the ‘bulletproof’ chinos as I wanted something smart but hard wearing. They don’t disappoint. They are ‘Fit B’ which is for the athletic build. I may try the slim fit next time around to see if I can have them a bit better fitting around the lower legs. If you aren’t happy though, they do give you a 100 day guarantee.
These are definitely worth you trying out. I’m looking forward to the summer when I can see what their chino shorts range is like. I might be able to wear shorts at work this summer for the first time, s they need to be smart!
