Fendi
The guys at Mr Porter brought these to my attention today. I must admit to having walked past the shop on New Bond Street a few weeks back and saying ‘are Fendi collaborating with Fila now?.’ I’m a massive swimwear fan, so naturally this caught my eye. Although at £290 the price tag is even more than I paid for my DSquared pair I bought early this year. I did say that would be the most I would ever spend on swimwear. So, Mr Porter, just a hint, i’m waist size 34-36inch, so feel free to hook me up!
What Fendi have done with this collection is take the retro fad for 90s sportswear that is going around at the moment, and elevate it to a totally new level. There is a wide collection of items to choose from, but not of it is overstated. Retro but modern the whole collection is great. Who would ever think that brown and gold would be in (oh yes Louis Vuitton). Check out some more images of the collection below!
